Exuberant Indian fusion wedding at the Hilton Easton
KIRAN + ROSS
This Hilton Easton wedding is one that is permanently ingrained in my mind and heart. Kiran and Ross, along with their loved ones, truly came to celebrate unity. Whether it was the horse draped in vibrant red and golds or the outfit change of the year, I will surely be talking about this one for a long time.
When Kiran got into her sari from Nazranaa the entire room became captivated. The floral details throughout the cultural pattern made it perfect for a bride. Once the veil was placed, my breath was taken away and I knew Ross was going to feel the same. The first look between the two did not disappoint and honestly, seeing Ross for the first time in his all white sherwani with a touch of blue was incredible and created the perfect contrast to Kiran.
From there the excitement really began to build. Seeing how much Ross and his family embraced Kiran’s culture during the lively baraat was almost foreshadowing to the embrace between the two once Kiran was down the aisle. But back to the baraat, if you know me, you know I love horses and dancing so getting to witness this moment and the energy and joy that flowed through everyone was infectious to say the least.
But after the milni, which is the official coming together of two families, the two shared their first kiss as husband and wife under a beautiful floral installation that mimicked a whimsical cloud. Dalay Ket paired with StR Events is an unstoppable match. They truly transformed the space at the Hilton transitioning guests from a tear-jerking ceremony to an elegant and electric reception.
That wasn’t the only thing that transitioned from night to day. Kiran shocked guests and once again took Ross’ breath away when she changed into an all black sari to compliment Ross’ American roots of a class black suit.
I could have captured this ensemble forever the way it made their features pop but the party must go on and DJ Amlan, friends, and family certainly were ready to get on the dancefloor. The energy intensified and flowed from the moment toasts were made to the final dance of the night. I never sat down because I just wanted to be with everyone, dancing and celebrating the bride and groom.
Like I said, I will be talking about this one forever and if you look at all the images, you will understand why.
