Gerika & Ryan’s Urban Date Night | Downtown Columbus Engagement Session

When two photographers come together, magic happens. Gerika and Ryan, both talented photographers in their own right, had a clear vision for their engagement session in Downtown Columbus, and it was an absolute joy to help bring that vision to life. They wanted a city date night vibe that captured their love, creativity, and the vibrant energy of the urban landscape—and we did just that.

Our session began with photos outsideColumbus Museum of Art, a place close to their hearts as they’ll soon be saying “I do” there. The museum’s timeless elegance contrasted beautifully with the city’s contemporary vibe. 

From there, we moved to Levee Tower, where the modern architecture provided a sleek backdrop for their stylish date night look. Gerika and Ryan knew exactly how to pose, their experience behind the camera evident in every shot. Their chemistry was undeniable, making it easy to capture moments that felt both candid and cinematic. The city buzzed around us, but all eyes were on them as they laughed, embraced, and let their love shine through.

But we didn’t stop there. One of the best parts of this session was just roaming around the city with Gerika and Ryan, capturing spontaneous moments that truly embodied their adventurous spirits. 

We wrapped up the evening with drinks at Veritas, a perfect end to our urban date night adventure. The intimate setting allowed for some final cozy shots, with the city lights twinkling in the background. It was a moment of calm after a day filled with energy and excitement, and it perfectly captured the essence of who Gerika and Ryan are as a couple—creative, passionate, and deeply in love.
