Columbus Museum Of Art Wedding | Megan + Terry ft. Prema Designs

Megan and Terry's wedding at the Columbus Museum of Art was a breathtaking celebration of love and art. The elegant venue provided a stunning backdrop that was accentuated by Prema Design’s incredible vision to transform a space. And with Valerie at Limelight Wedding Planing in charge everything was perfectly orchestrated and went off without a hitch.

Getting Ready at Hotel LeVeque

Megan and Terry started their wedding day at the elegant Hotel LeVeque in Columbus, Ohio. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as the couple prepared for their special day. Megan's makeup, flawlessly done by Almaz Faces, enhanced her natural beauty, leaving her radiant. The bridal suite was filled with the soft scent of blooms styled by Prema Designs, providing the perfect backdrop for photographing the wedding invitations from Avant-Garde Impressions and other sentimental items.

Megan slipped into her stunning Anne Barge gown from White of Dublin with the help of her maid of honor, Avery, and her mom. The room was filled with joyful energy as Megan shared a touching first look with her bridesmaids, who wore beautiful blush dresses. The excitement and genuine happiness from her friends was palpable— they were truly the ultimate hype squad!

Following this, Megan shared an emotional first look with her dad. The tears flowing from both Megan and her father made this moment unforgettable.

First Look and Private Vows at Columbus Museum of Art

The wedding party then hopped on the trolley and headed to the Columbus Museum of Art, where Megan and Terry shared an intimate first look. This was followed by a private exchange of vows, a quiet moment that was full of heartfelt emotions. Afterward, the entire wedding party joined them for photos on the steps of the museum, capturing the joy and elegance of the day.

Trolley Ride to the Church

The trolley ride to the church was nothing short of magical. It definilty felt like a core memory as “Going to the Chapel” played over the sound system and everyone sang along, setting the perfect tone for the ceremony ahead.

A Beautiful Ceremony

The ceremony was especially touching, with the priest, who had known Megan’s family for years and had baptized her as a baby, officiating. The church's grandeur, with its vast cathedral ceilings, was captured beautifully in photos taken from the balcony. The just-married portraits taken outside the church perfectly capture Megan and Terry’s excitement!

Photos on the Rich Street Bridge

Before heading back to the art museum, Megan and Terry took a moment to capture the stunning Columbus skyline from the Rich Street Bridge. Megan had her heart set on this location and I’m so glad we were able to squeeze in a few quick photos in record time so she could get back to CMOA to enjoy cocktail hour.

Cocktail Hour at the Columbus Museum of Art

Guests were welcomed to the cocktail hour at the Columbus Museum of Art with glasses of champagne and the soothing sounds of a jazz trio in The McCoy Family Broad Street Lobby. The cocktail hour, held in Edward Court, featured a gorgeous four-sided bar designed by Prema, adorned with florals and sparkling chandeliers, ensuring everyone could quickly enjoy their drinks without waiting in line. Guests were treated to customized watercolor portraits by Clairevpowell Art and a glamorous photo booth experience from Baci Booths.

A Jaw-Dropping Room Reveal From Prema Designs

One of the most breathtaking moments of the day was the room reveal in the Schottenstein Property Group Pavilion. As M+T walked in with their parents, their jaws dropped at the sight of the room, which was dressed in warm beige curtains from Serendipity Designs that added a cozy, intimate feel to the space. Prema Designs brought in three stunning cabanas and strung beautiful crystal globes of varying sizes styled with more blooms. The layout was thoughtfully arranged with a mix of round tables featuring massive hydrangea centerpieces and long tables scattered with delicate bud vases. Candlelight adorned each table, enhancing the romantic ambiance. Different chair designs added layers of visual interest to the space, making the reception area uniquely stylish.

A Spectacular Reception ft. a 10-Piece Band

Music City Sound, a 10-piece band from Nashville, brought the house down with their spectacular performance. Their energy and talent kept the dance floor packed all night long. The toasts were a blend of humor and heartfelt moments, leaving everyone both laughing and tearing up.

To keep the party going, late-night snacks from White Castle and a delicious cake from Golden Delight ensured everyone stayed happy and fueled for the night’s festivities.

If you're planning your own Columbus Museum wedding or any other special event, I'd love to help you preserve your most precious moments.
