Victorian Village Christmas Photos in Columbus, Ohio

Katie and Kait recently bought a house in the quaint Victorian Village neighborhood in Columbus, Ohio and were hoping to capture a few portraits out front for their holiday cards. We had planned a weekend session, but when it started snowing giant beautiful snowflakes in the middle of the week and Katie sent me a photo of her house covered in snow I knew we had to take advantage of the picturesque scene. I’m so thankful that we did because it was such a dream! It felt like I was photographing in a real life snow globe.

Their historic brick home decked out with Christmas wreaths and lights has so much charm and was a perfect backdrop with their green and red coats. We couldn’t leave out their three adorable pooches from the shoot either who had just been groomed and were in their holiday best!

Katie and Kait’s chemistry with each other is so sweet— they are genuinely so happy together and their laughter is contagious. We had so much fun snapping photos and taking in the winter wonderland together. Wishing these two beautiful women a wonderful holiday season full of lots of love and cheer! Thank you both so much for allowing me to capture this beginning chapter of homeownership!
