I am so excited to finally be able to share this bold and luxurious inspiration shoot that took place at North 4th Corridor, The Revery in Downtown Columbus. This shoot was created to explore a palette that hasn’t been explored enough, along with some dreamy blooms by Prema Designs. Pairing the lavender and lilac hues with strong black statements along with the acrylic was the perfect way to compliment the rooftop venue. Using a real couple was key in creating an intimate atmosphere. It ensured a genuine emotion of love coming through in the photos. Adding the small unique details with a show-stopping gown and individual escort cakes took it over the top.

Adorned on the acrylic tables from Envision Elegance, were crystal candlesticks heavy candlelight and floral runner trays that cascaded to the floral sprouts below along with seas of candlelight and heavy petals. These reflective accents were so delicately placed around black rimmed chargers, gold flatware, and unique glassware all from Aiden and Grace. A romantic yet modern cake by Kuro Neko Cakes was a highlight accented with matching individual cakes set at each place setting. To balance the contrast, BBJ Linen brought in velvet mauve napkins to drape over the table. Accenting with the dusty rose were the perfect accent chairs from A&G’s Samantha and Carrie collection. The chairs sat contrasted against a black accent wall, really summarizing the color scheme of the shoot with a unique welcome sign and signature drinks added a special touch to the cocktail inspired area.

The ceremony space was the real show stopper. Starting with the invitation to it all by Ink and Ivory, the set featured muted, dusty pinks with a masculine type and bold roses to add dimension. Upon arrival, mirrored reflections of blooms and candlelight holding lush floral posies, along with lush lavender clouds of roses and black foliage floated above the space that later doubled as a statement piece for the reception table. A black runner and acrylic chairs added a clean line leading up to the ceremony space accented with bride’s pearl crusted cape veil as she floats up the aisle.

The bride looked absolutely stunning in her gown from White Bridal Boutiques. The deep halter and heavy drapery looked so classic against the grooms all black tux from Pursuit Yourself. Can we also take a moment to acknowledge the shoes of the evening!? Bella Belle Shoes never fails at providing an effortless and glam bridal look but the groom’s maroon oxfords and matching socks brought a whole new level of style.

Lastly, I cannot forget to mention a dear friend in the industry who never fails at planning something extraordinary, MMJ Events. Between her and Prema Designs, this shoot went so smooth and involved so many little details that most might overlook or not even think about. They turned The Revery into a cloud like scene where all the pieces came together to create a floating effect. Truly a unique and inspiring shoot that I loved being a part of.
