It’s hard to believe my sweet little peach is already 18 months old! When I took her in for her appointment last week, it suddenly dawned on me that it has already been 6 months since we celebrated her first birthday and I never got around to sharing her party photos! Shame on me because this was one of my favorite parties to date! I’m so excited to give you a little peek into Parker’s celebration!

If I’m being honest, I had her first birthday theme figured out before she was even born!haha I know that seems a little crazy, but it’s true. When I was pregnant, my twin daughters Reagan and Jocelyn loved discussing possible name options for their new baby sister. One day we were sitting together watching the Ice Age movie where the mommy mammoth is pregnant and they can’t agree on what to name the baby. However, once they meet her and see that she is sweet, round, and covered in fuzz they name her Peaches! For whatever reason my girls thought it was the funniest and best name they had ever heard and declared in that moment that our baby was also going to be named Peaches!

I figured the infatuation with Peaches would eventually pass as all the other names they had come up with did, but I was wrong. It stuck like glue and throughout the rest of my pregnancy we all referred to her as Baby Peaches. In the end it really was the perfect nickname for her because she was nearly 10 pounds when she was born and covered in fuzz! We still lovingly call her Peaches to this day and I’m thinking it might just be a lifelong nickname.

So, as you can see, there really was never any question on what we should go with as a theme for her party! It was a happy coincidence that she was born in August, which just so happens to be right in the middle of prime peach season!

We hosted a lovely brunch at our home with delicious quiche, fresh fruit, french toast casserole, mimosas and more! My sister catered for me and did such an amazing job and of course my Mom with Sweetie Girls Treatery made all the desserts and gorgeous Rifle Paper inspired cake! We had peach pie, macarons, peach shaped cookies, and homemade croissants.

I found an adorable vintage highchair from a local antique shop and painted in white for the birthday girl. We strung a giant peach balloon to it and wrapped some greenery around the back to add a little extra detail. I created the giant letter “P” out of foam board and simply hot glued some silk flowers to it. It was such an easy little DIY detail that added a lot of visual impact!

We had such a fun and relaxed day with all our family and friends and Parker loved being the center of attention! There was zero hesitation as she went face first into the cake and clapped after everyone sang to her. It’s safe to say that Parker is one lucky little girl surrounded by so much love and it was my privilege to plan this party in her honor! We love you Baby Peaches!
